Stash

Privacy Policy

Effective 11 September 2026

Stash does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Your clipboard stays on your Mac

Your clipboard history, named snippets, and settings live only on your Mac. The app has no servers and sends nothing anywhere.

No accounts, no tracking

There are no accounts and no sign-up. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party services or SDKs of any kind.

Sensitive clips are ignored

Stash automatically skips anything an app marks as concealed or transient — so passwords and secure fields copied from password managers are never recorded.

Files you add

When you drag a file or folder into Stash, it stores only a secure reference to it on your Mac (a security-scoped bookmark) — never a copy of the file, and nothing about it leaves your device.

No special permissions

Stash needs no special permissions. It reads and writes the clipboard — which requires no permission — and nothing else. There is no Accessibility use and no auto-paste: when you pick a clip, Stash copies it and returns you to your app, and you paste it yourself with ⌘V.

Contact

If you email support, your email address is used only to reply to you. It is never stored, shared, or used for anything else.
